Pork and fennel sausage rolls
Ingredients

 

  • 2kg pork mince
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped sage leaves
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 6 sheets puff pastry
  • Egg wash
  • Black sesame seeds
Method

 

  1. Mix pork, seasonings and herbs together.
  2. Lay out the pastry sheets, cut in half.
  3. Place a roll of pork mixture along the length of each pastry piece.
  4. Brush the edge and roll over to seal.
  5. Brush the top with egg wash and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
  6. Cut into portions.
