About the position

Job description

This role is responsible for the delivery of work health and safety (WHS) programs, including risk identification and management, injury prevention, training, reporting, and rehabilitation. 

This role could take place on farms, and/or other sites like feed mills and abattoirs. 

Minimum education, experience, or skills 

  • Knowledge of work health and safety legislation and processes 
  • Current driver’s licence 

 

Activities

  • Ensure health and safety requirements and regulations are met in the workplace 
  • Identify and manage new and existing health and safety risks to staff in the workplace 
  • Conduct staff inductions and training activities  
  • Investigate health and safety incidents 
  • Conduct site safety audits and risk analyses 
  • Record safety data and actions in a safety data system 
  • Promote a safe workplace culture
