Pork belly burnt end skewers
- 1kg pork belly, boneless and skinless, cut into 3-4cm cubes
For the rub
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp caster sugar
- ½ tsp cracked black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
For the glaze
- 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses (can substitute with honey and lemon juice)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Mix all rub ingredients together add prepared pork and toss to coat.
- Thread 3 pieces of pork belly onto each skewer
- Combine glaze ingredients and brush over pork skewers.
