About the position

Job description

This experienced person oversees milling activities – including storage and maintenance of materials, equipment, and vehicles, and supervises the activities and training of other feed mill staff. 

Minimum education, experience, or skills

  • Grain storage and warehouse experience 
  • Experience in the stockfeed industry 
  • Current driver’s, forklift and HC truck licences highly desirable 

 

Activities

  • Operate, maintain, and inspect feedmill equipment and vehicles 
  • Storage, handling, and monitoring of raw materials 
  • Scheduling of feed production/milling activities 
  • Oversee activities and training of other mill staff 
  • Optimise efficiencies with feedmill machinery and processes 
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental requirements and regulations are met in the workplace
