Launched in 1993, the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival Legends Hall of Fame pays tribute to the leaders, groundbreakers and visionaries of Victoria’s food, drink and hospitality industry.
The awards are peer-nominated, and to qualify, a Legend must have made a significant contribution to food or drink, and clocked at least 15 years in hospitality in Victoria.
APL would like to congratulate Judy Crough (Western Plains Pork) on receiving the Legends Awards for Food Producers, Retailers, Advocates.
Judy, who is the founder and chief executive of Western Plains Pork, has worked directly with chefs for more than 20 years, finessing her free-range product to the needs of the hospitality industry while producing pork to the highest ethical standards – and all while working towards a carbon-neutral certification at her farm on the grassy plains between Ballarat and Geelong.
Congratulations to all winners of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival Legends and Trailblazers awards 2024.
