On Tuesday 23 July APL's PorkStar program had their third butcher breakdown session featuring Darren O’Rourke, educating the team at Quite Like who are a meal preparation subscription service based in Sydney.

As part of PorkStar's ongoing education series, Darren expertly broke down half a pig over the course of three hours, sharing invaluable insights into the various cuts and demonstrating how nearly every part of the pig can be utilised.

The goal with this session was to inspire the recipe development team at Quite Like and encourage the inclusion of more pork recipes in their meal kits.

Darren's hands-on demonstration was both educational and inspiring, providing the team with fresh ideas and a deeper understanding of pork preparation.
Additionally, APL's Kylie Roberts guided the team through a session on Australian pork, shedding light on the industry's practices and the role of PorkStar in connecting producers with the broader food industry.
