On Monday 15 July APL's PorkStar program headed to the sunshine state to celebrate industry guests including chefs, restauranteurs, suppliers and producers at Short Grain

There were 60 guests in attendance who enjoyed a pork centered menu designed by Martin Boetz and head chef Daniele Passaretta.

Pork was the star of every dish with menu highlights including salted pork belly and soft shell bug salad, spiced northern style curry of pork, ginger & pickled garlic and caramel custard with pork fat pastry and coconut sorbet.

The evening was a great celebration of all things pork and an inspiration to keep pork at the forefront of menu placement. It was also a wonderful night to reconnect and catch up with the industry in Brisbane.
