During the month of October, Meat Business Women (MBW) held a series of workshops across Australia, designed to equip women with the skills and confidence to effectively communicate with consumers, customers, and community members.

These workshops were tailor-made for professionals in the meat industry who are eager to elevate their communication skills, forge stronger connections with stakeholders, and thrive in a supportive community of like-minded women. Women from across the pork industry and red meat industry were joined by APL staff in learning new skills all aimed at benefiting the Australian meat industry.

Attendees dove deep into strategies to leverage industry resources and effectively address stakeholder concerns using trusted data, reports, and insights. The 'Listen, Ask, Share' communication model proved to be a game-changer, fostering transparent and meaningful dialogues.

Harnessing the public's strong trust in Australian farmers, attendees gained actionable tools for crafting authentic messaging that truly resonate. Expert insights into social media helped participants sharpen their digital strategies and boost engagement.

These workshops were a fantastic networking opportunity, bringing together industry leaders committed to highlighting the value and sustainability of the meat sector.
