Aussie pork farmers and APL are proud to continue our partnership with Coles in 2024 to support the FightMND's annual Big Freeze Campaign, which is now celebrating its 10th year; helping to raise vital funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

The 10th annual Big Freeze game at the MCG ahead of the King's Birthday clash between Collingwood and Melbourne was one to remember, with APL and pork producers in attendance to watch as some of the biggest names in Australian sport went down the slide to raise money for Fight MND.

Football and sporting royalty donned their best outfits (with a rock star theme) and slid into a pool of icy cold water, just what was needed on a chilly Melbourne June day.

In the words the Fight MND patron Neale Daniher ‘It’s not what we say, it’s what we do that matters’. Action over words, so let our collective actions speak louder.

Once again Coles and Aussie Pork Farmers will donate 10 cents from every pack of Coles brand fresh pork products purchased, in addition there will be a double donation of 20 cents on three award-winning sow stall free cuts – (Coles Australian Pork Shoulder Roast Boneless, Coles Australian Pork Loin Chops Large Tray and Coles Australian Pork 3 Star Mince 500g).

MND is an insidious disease without any effective treatment or a cure, but over the past ten years, FightMND has been able to make real change. Coles and Aussie Pork Farmers have helped to raise over $30 million to support research and support fighting MND.
