After last year’s success, our Aussie Summer Sausage Comp will be making a return in 2023.

The most creative Aussie-themed, value-added pork snag will win a Weber Baby-Q plus nationwide exposure for your store.

As a bonus, we will be giving away Australian Pork branded calico bags to every butcher who enters.

You can enter by posting a photo of you and your snag in the Australian Pork Butchers Facebook group or by emailing your entry to us.

Rules:

  1. The sausage protein must be 100% Australian pork
  2. Entries open Monday 2 January 2023 and close Thursday 19 January 2023.
  3. The top five entries will be judged by pork-lovers via the Australian Pork Instagram page on the weekend of 21-22 January.
  4. All sausages must contain an Australian themed ingredient.

From our consumer research, we know that butchers are still the preferred retailer for gourmet sausages. So be sure to take advantage of that this summer and create some amazing pork snags.
