APL Elected Director vacancy

Nominations are being called for one upcoming APL Elected Director position.
As required by the Australian Pork Limited (APL) Constitution, one Elected Director of APL will retire by rotation at the Annual General Meeting being held on 17 October 2024. On this occasion, Mr Kenton Shaw will retire.
With Mr Shaw retiring, there is one Elected Director vacancy arising. Retiring Directors are eligible to seek nomination and stand for re-election.
To be eligible to stand as a candidate for an Elected Director position nominations must be received prior to 9.00am AEST on Monday 9 September 2024.
Candidates for election are required to:
Delegates will vote at the AGM to elect a candidate to the vacant position.
Forms and information
The APL Constitution and the Statutory Funding Agreement between APL and the Commonwealth Government both require that APL maintains a skills-based Board.
The APL People & Culture Committee will review all nominations received to determine the impact of each candidate’s skills on the maintenance of a skills-based Board.
To assist the Committee to perform this process, nominated candidates are required to provide a curriculum vitae and a written statement specifically addressing their potential contribution to any or all the following collective Board core skill and experience competencies:
