29 - 30 August APL joined the Australian Meat Industry Council for the 2024 Australian Charcuterie Excellence Awards (ACEA) Gala dinner and Smallgoods Industry Summit hosted in Sydney.  

The ACEA winners included 32 category champions and 202 gold medals, showcasing the best in the industry. Congratulations to all of this year's Aussie pork winners, you can check out the full list of winners here. 

Congratulations go to the Smallgoods Young Achiever of the Year, Reed Stephens from Primo Smallgoods, and Roland Melosi from Montecatini Specialty Smallgoods who received the Smallgoods Lifetime Achievement Award. 

The Smallgoods Industry Summit which was a great opportunity for Australian smallgoods producers to get together and hear from industry leaders about the latest issues affecting the industry — including workforce shortages, sustainability, nutrition, innovation, trade and more.
