On the 20-21 February AgriFutures evokeAG was held in Perth Western Australia, with a record crowd showing up to the event which attracted more than 1800 people, over 200 international delegates, 84 speakers, and over 50 startups, corporate partners and investors.
Among the speakers was pork producer Edwina Beveridge of Blantyre farms NSW who provided valuable insights into waste reduction, sustainability efforts and improving on-farm efficiencies in her family's operation.
Craig Mostyn Group was a Silver Sponsor of the event, it was great to see the WA pork industry well represented providing an opportunity for APL to touch base with our members. The caliber of speakers brought thought provoking conversations across a variety of topics from Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital food supply chains and a reduction in food waste, and the state of the biofuels industry.
These events provide a great opportunity for the pork industry to share ideas, build connections and to learn how others are working to create a more resilient, sustainable, and profitable agrifood sector and value chain.
