Guidelines for Fostering
The “Guidelines for Fostering Getting the ‘One per centers’ right” is now available from APL. The guidelines cover piglet and sow requirements, the importance of colostrum, and explain fostering and how to go about it, to ensure that producers and stockpeople are able to optimise production and welfare through their farrowing house management practices.
For a hard copy of APL’s “Guidelines for Fostering Getting the ‘One per centers’ right” please contact Rachael Bryant on (02) 6270 8823 or rachael.bryant@australianpork.com.au with your mailing details.
