Webinar: Gestational precision feeding
A webinar this Monday (25 May 2020) will give producers insight into how precision feeding sows during gestation can improve productivity.
Professor Ron Ball will share his findings, which include increased piglet birth weight and subsequent growth rates, plus improved reproductive performance and longevity of the sow.
Prof Ball has spent 15 years researching the changing essential amino acid and energy requirements during sow gestation, including APL-funded research at Bailey Creek Pork in Australia and research at Kansas State and South Dakota State Universities in the US.
The 30-minute webinar will be held this Monday 25 May, at 10am AEST, with a recording available on request.
Text questions to David Cadogan on 0409 049 793.
