Co-operative conversations shares stories from the farming frontline
A new online series, Co-operative Conversations, will feature farmers addressing issues in farming and looking at how to future-proof family farms.
The series began this week at with renowned agricultural journalist, Pete Lewis, hosting the conversations with producers. It will look at the co-operative business model in the face of a challenge or crisis, where it does and doesn’t succeed, plus how relevant and transformational it can be.
The project is supported by the Department of Agriculture, through funding from the Australian Government’s Starting Farm Co-operatives Program, and is delivered by the businesses Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals.
The series will run until October 23.
