VFF ‘ASF – are you ready’ event POSTPONED
VFF have advised that the ‘ASF – are you ready’ workshop and dinner scheduled for Tuesday 17th March in Bendigo will be POSTPONED and rescheduled for a later date as a result of the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
As an industry that understands the importance of good biosecurity practices to protect our animals, families, employees and ultimately our businesses, we have an obligation to reduce the risk of anything that may impact on these areas.
The VFF have been monitoring the Government’s advice, including that of the Chief Medical Officer, in relation to the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, and considered the potential impacts of holding this event at the current time during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In light of the above, the decision has been made to postpone the ASF producer workshop and dinner and when the time is right, the VFF will look to reschedule the event.
