Mr Andrew Baxter
Mr Baxter is the Senior Advisor at KPMG’s entrepreneurial Customer, Brand & Marketing Advisory business, as well as the Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the University of Sydney. Mr Baxter also has over 30 combined years of Non-Executive Director experience. He is the Chairman of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation as well as the Chairman of Deakin Business School. Mr Baxter also sits on the Board of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and is a Nominated Non-Executive Director and Chairman for Indigenous Business Australia. Over two decades at Publicis, Ogilvy and Y&R, he was a trusted counsel to the executive teams of many of Australia’s largest companies and brands, as well as the State and Federal Governments. His role as CEO of Ogilvy Australia saw the agency create AAMI’s “Rhonda and Ketut” and Coca- Cola’s “Share a Coke” campaigns. Mr Baxter regularly writes and speaks about the future of marketing, is one of LinkedIn’s Top 40 Australian influencers, and the winner of Australian Marketing Institute’s Sir Charles McGrath Award for his significant contribution to the field of marketing. Andrew is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Monash University.
